Buy-links let you sell without a website. Generate a checkout link for any product, share it on WhatsApp / Instagram / SMS / anywhere, and customers pay you directly. Perfect for solo sellers who run their business out of DMs.
Who buy-links are for
- WhatsApp business sellers (the most common use case)
- Instagram sellers who DM-and-close
- Sellers who run weekend pop-ups and want a quick checkout link
- Anyone testing a product before setting up a full store
How it works
- From the dashboard's Browse Products, find a product you want to sell.
- Click Generate Buy Link.
- You get a short URL like
vaanijyasetu.com/buy/abcd1234— copy it. - Share with a customer ("Here, pay here: link")
- Customer opens the link, picks quantity, enters their address, pays via UPI/card
- Order lands in your dashboard, payment lands in your pending wallet
- We dispatch directly to the customer
- When marked Delivered, the funds release from pending to available in your wallet
Why "pending wallet" first?
Buy-link payments go to your pending balance first because if the customer cancels or the shipment fails before delivery, we need to refund them — and we can't pull money back out of your spendable wallet.
Once the order is Delivered, the profit (customer's payment minus product wholesale cost) moves from pending to available, ready to withdraw.
How pricing works
You set the retail price when generating the link. Customer pays retail. Your cost is the wholesale rate for your plan + delivery + (optional) white-label fee.
Example: Wholesale ₹450, delivery ₹50, no white-label. You set retail to ₹699.
Customer pays ₹699. You earn ₹699 − ₹450 − ₹50 = ₹199 profit per order.
Tracking your buy-links
The Buy Links page lists every link you've ever generated, with: views, clicks, conversions, orders received, and total revenue. Each link is permanent — you can re-share an old link anytime.
Tips for converting more
- Include a product image in your WhatsApp message before the link — it dramatically increases click-through.
- Personalise the message — "Hi Priya, here's the saree you asked about: link" converts 3× better than a generic blast.
- Follow up — most sales close on the 2nd or 3rd message. Buy-links don't expire.
