Getting started

What exactly is VaanijyaSetu?

VaanijyaSetu is a dropshipping platform. You pick products from our catalog, list them on your own store (WooCommerce, Shopify, WhatsApp), set your retail price, and when customers order, we ship directly to them. You never hold inventory — the product goes from our warehouse straight to your end-customer.

Do I need a business or GST registration to start?

No. Individuals can sign up and start selling. GST registration is required only if your turnover crosses ₹20 lakh per year (or you're selling inter-state and want to claim input tax credit). You can update your GSTIN in your dashboard anytime.

How much does it cost to start?

Subscription plans are listed during registration. There's no setup fee, no per-order fee from VaanijyaSetu beyond your wholesale cost and shipping. You pay only the subscription + actual product/shipping costs as orders come in.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your dashboard. Refund eligibility depends on usage — see our Refund Policy.

Products & pricing

How are wholesale prices set?

Each product has a fixed wholesale price visible to you. You set the retail price your customer pays. The difference is your margin. We don't take a cut of your retail margin.

Can I edit product descriptions or images?

You can use our product images and descriptions on your store. For Shopify and WooCommerce integrations, the data syncs automatically. You can customise titles and descriptions on your own store after import.

What if a product I'm selling goes out of stock?

You'll get a notification, and the product is marked unavailable in your synced store. New orders for it will be blocked until restock. If an order is already placed before the stock-out, we'll contact you to discuss substitution or refund.

Orders & shipping

How do orders flow?

Customer orders from your store → your store syncs the order to VaanijyaSetu (or you place it manually) → we pack and ship → customer receives the product. You can track everything in your dashboard.

How long does delivery take?

Metro cities: 2-4 business days from dispatch. Tier-2/3 cities: 3-10 days. See Shipping Policy for full details.

Does the package have your branding or mine?

By default, packages ship in neutral/white-label packaging without VaanijyaSetu branding. Custom branded packaging (your logo on box, custom thank-you note) is available on higher-tier plans.

Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?

Yes, on serviceable pincodes. An additional COD handling fee applies. COD collections are remitted to your wallet within 3-7 business days of successful delivery.

Payments & wallet

How do I pay for orders?

Two options: (1) pay directly per order via Razorpay (cards, UPI, net banking, wallets), or (2) load credit into your VaanijyaSetu wallet and pay from there. Wallet is faster for high-volume sellers.

Is my payment information safe?

All payments go through Razorpay (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified). VaanijyaSetu never sees or stores your card details — we only receive transaction confirmations. Your wallet balance is securely stored in our database.

What about refunds to my customers?

The customer relationship is yours — you process refunds to them per your own policy. Where eligible (per our Refund Policy), we credit your wallet for returns/damaged shipments.

Store integration

Which platforms do you integrate with?

WooCommerce (WordPress) and Shopify are fully supported. We auto-push products and pull orders. For WhatsApp/Instagram sellers, our buy-link feature creates a clean checkout page per product.

How does the WooCommerce plugin work?

Install our plugin from your dashboard, paste your API token, and you're done. Products you pull from VaanijyaSetu appear in your WooCommerce store. Customer orders sync back automatically.

Can I use my own custom store (not WooCommerce/Shopify)?

Yes — use our REST API directly. Full documentation is at /api-docs.

Account & support

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Use Forgot Password from the login page. You'll receive a reset link via email.

All subscription and order invoices are downloadable from your client dashboard under "Invoices".
