Connecting Shopify uses the official Shopify OAuth flow — no plugin file to install. Takes about 2 minutes.
You'll need: Admin access to your Shopify store, and your VaanijyaSetu seller account.
1. Open the Connect Store page
Log in to your VaanijyaSetu dashboard. Click Connect Store in the sidebar. On the Shopify card, enter your store URL (looks like yourstore.myshopify.com) and click Install.
2. Authorize in Shopify
You'll be redirected to Shopify's permission page showing exactly what our app will access:
- Read & write products (so we can push our catalog into your store)
- Read & write inventory (so stock stays in sync)
- Read & write orders (so we can fulfill orders placed via your storefront)
Click Install app on Shopify's screen.
3. You're back — connection live
You'll be redirected back to VaanijyaSetu with a green "Connected" banner. The Connect Store page now shows your Shopify store with status Connected ✓.
What syncs automatically
- Product pushes — when you click "Pull" on a catalog product, we create the matching product in your Shopify store with images, description, price, and variants.
- Stock updates — when our stock changes, your Shopify inventory updates within minutes.
- Order sync — when a customer buys on your Shopify store, the order appears in your VaanijyaSetu dashboard for you to confirm fulfillment.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect either from the VaanijyaSetu dashboard (Connect Store page → Disconnect) or from Shopify (Settings → Apps → VaanijyaSetu → Uninstall). Both ways cleanly revoke access.
Troubleshooting
"App not found" or 404 during install
Your store URL might be wrong. It should be the .myshopify.com URL, not your custom domain. Find it in Shopify Admin → Settings → Domains.
Products not appearing in Shopify after pull
Re-check the Connect Store page — if it shows "Disconnected" the app's token expired. Re-install.
